Pregnancy welcome visit

You can feel confident knowing that Aurora BayCare, the hub for the largest OB/GYN practice in Northeast Wisconsin, offers complete and specialized prenatal care.

At Aurora BayCare Medical Center, our providers offer personalized care for women before, during and after pregnancy, all available during extended hours. Our obstetricians are experienced in handling both normal and high-risk pregnancies and are supported by the latest equipment and technology to assist with all aspects of birthing.

In addition to our general obstetric services, you have access to specialized obstetric services including:

Pregnancy welcome visit

A positive pregnancy test comes with a lot of emotions and a lot of questions, and you shouldn’t have to wait to get the information you need! At Aurora BayCare, you'll get an appointment for a Pregnancy Welcome Visit within three days of calling.

Ultrasound & prenatal genetic screening

As a convenience to you, ultrasound services and prenatal genetic screening (also referred to as amniocentesis), are offered right in our obstetrician offices.   And for your peace of mind, obstetricians are present during your visit to share timely results of your exam and to answer your immediate questions.   Our obstetricians are accredited by the American Institute of Ultrasound in Medicine, which means they offer the highest standards of care.

Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU)

Not everyone needs the highest level of neonatal care, but if you do, you’ll find comfort knowing that Aurora BayCare Medical Center supports a Level III NICU.  Level III NICUs are staffed by around-the-clock subspecialty personnel including neonatologists, neonatal nurse practitioners, neonatal nurses, and respiratory therapists.  These experts provide the highest level of neonatal care to newborn infants at varying degrees of risk.

Private birthing suites

When it’s time to deliver, our private birthing suites offer comfort and security.  Our LDRP suites (labor, delivery, recovery, postpartum) are birthing rooms in which the mother remains for all four steps of the birthing process.  State-of-the-art equipment is transferred to the suite for each stage of the birthing process.  In-room baby stations provide an environment in which mom and baby can stay together.  These luxury suites create a family-centered experience while our birthing team provides expert care.

Laborist program

Aurora BayCare offers the only OB/GYN Laborist Program in the Green Bay area, ensuring that an OB/GYN is on-site and accessible at all times. The constant presence of a qualified OB practitioner makes childbirth even safer for women and babies in Northeast Wisconsin.

Online pregnancy classes

In addition to a vast array of classes offered on-site at Aurora BayCare Medical Center, you also have access to online pregnancy classes. Search childbirth and parenting to explore your online pregnancy education options.  For event location, select the birthing center location you expect to use for your child’s birth.

Expanded hours and two locations

Convenient hours and locations mean better care for you and your family. All our OB/GYN services are available at two locations: Aurora BayCare Medical Center on Greenbrier Rd. and Aurora BayCare Health Center on W. Mason St. Both locations offer digital mammography, ultrasound services and expanded evening hours that make it easier to schedule appointments when you need them.
