Pregnancy Welcome Visit and prenatal care
Start your journey with a Pregnancy Welcome Visit at Aurora BayCare. As soon as you find out you’re pregnant, make an appointment to meet with one of our women’s health nurses. We’ll tell you what you can expect and start planning your prenatal care program.
Most prenatal care services, including genetic testing and pregnancy ultrasounds, are available right in our OB-GYN offices. Our obstetricians are accredited by the American Institute of Ultrasound in Medicine, which means that they offer the highest standards of care.
Pregnancy Care Companion
We make it easy for you to access information and resources throughout your journey. With our Pregnancy Care Companion, you can:
- Access educational articles and videos tailored to each stage of your pregnancy
- View lab and test results
- Get updates on your baby's development
- Share updates with your family
- Send and receive messages with your care
Once your pregnancy is added to your medical record, you're automatically enrolled in the Pregnancy Care Companion program through LiveWell.

Laborist program
Aurora BayCare’s laborist program ensures that a board-certified OB-GYN is on-site 24/7 at our Birthing Center. Day and night, we’re here to monitor the health of you and your baby and provide care when you need it the most.
Birthing Center
Our state-of-the-art Birthing Center was designed with your comfort and safety as our top priorities. Private birthing suites include spacious bathrooms, sleeping areas for your birthing partner, in-room baby stations and other upscale amenities.
High-risk pregnancy and neonatal intensive care unit (NICU)
Fellowship-trained neonatologists and maternal-fetal medicine specialists are dedicated to the unique needs of women with high-risk pregnancies. We provide careful monitoring at every gestational stage and during childbirth. If your newborn arrives with special health needs, our Level III NICU is equipped to offer the highest level of critical care.
Breastfeeding and postpartum care
After childbirth, you may have questions about breastfeeding, bonding with your baby or physical and emotional changes you’re experiencing. We’re here to provide supportive postpartum care and help you navigate the early challenges of motherhood.
