Featured resources at our Level II Trauma Center

We’ve earned a Level II Trauma Center certification from the American College of Surgeons. Trauma Centers are categorized according to their resources for managing trauma cases. Our Level II Trauma Center offers resources that fall between those provided by Level I and Level III centers.

  • On-the-spot treatment: We get you from the emergency department door to the operating room at times that meet or exceed the highest national standards.
  • Resources ready to go: Our team includes emergency-trained nurses, respiratory therapists and specially trained radiologists. With an intensive care unit (ICU) and critical care physicians on-site 24/7, we offer rapid, comprehensive treatment.
  • Specialized physicians: Our trained trauma surgeons can quickly assess injuries and provide immediate treatment. Specialists focused on neurosurgery, orthopedics and anesthesiology are on call for injuries and accidents.
  • Specially equipped facilities: We have two state-of-the-art trauma operating suites, both fully equipped for any type of surgery. We provide trauma care for young patients in a suite dedicated to pediatric care. With dedicated imaging in the suites, our doctors can quickly make reliable decisions about treatment.
  • En route communication with EMTs: Our trauma teams prepare for your arrival by communicating with emergency medical technicians (EMTs) in the ambulance or helicopter. Knowing your status in advance helps ensure a smooth transfer so you receive the best possible care.
