Inpatient and Outpatient Neuro Rehab
Aurora BayCare Medical Center offers skilled physical, occupational, and speech therapy to patients with a variety of neurological diagnoses including:
- Stroke
- Traumatic brain injury, non-traumatic brain injury
- Multiple Sclerosis
- Parkinson’s Disease
- Spinal surgeries and injuries
- Guillain-Barre syndrome
Recovery from any kind of brain injury is a long-term process. After discharge, most patients will receive ongoing therapy to continue the recovery process. Outpatient rehab is open to those who were treated at Aurora BayCare and to other members of the community.
Skilled Rehab Team
A neurological condition can lead to physical impairments as well as changes in your thinking, emotions, and behavior. Patients with these conditions require specialized services. Our neuro rehab team offers advanced care for patients with a wide range of neurological disorders.
This collaborative team include therapists, a neuropsychologist, rehab psychologist, and specialized rehab nurses. Many of our therapists have advanced certifications in geriatric and neurologic rehabilitation.

Family Support
Strokes, brain injuries, and neurological disorders affect more than just the patient. While your loved one is working on recovery, you may be adjusting to their new limitations. Being a caregiver for someone going through neurorehabilitation can be draining.
We offer a variety of resources to help both patients and their families cope. Support groups offer patients and their families the opportunity to share their experiences, discuss adjustment strategies, and learn from each other.
