Together, we can focus on what helps you best, in the most cost-effective way, with the fastest results
At Aurora BayCare, your Chiropractor is part of a collaborative medical team. Together, we can focus on treatments that help you best. Your Chiropractor is available on-site at the hospital and in affiliated clinics throughout the greater Green Bay area.
Chiropractors blend hands-on therapy with modern technology and physical rehabilitation. Our chiropractors have a close working relationship with the medical staff and work collaboratively to integrate chiropractic care with any of your other treatment plans.
We frequently treat people with disorders affecting their musculoskeletal or nervous systems. Chiropractic care is typically focused on reducing pain or other conditions, such as:
- Arthritis
- Back pain
- Joint pain
- Neck pain
- Headaches
- Pinched nerves
- Pregnancy-related back and leg pain
- Sciatic nerve pain including numbness in arms and legs
- Whiplash
Chiropractic care can also improve overall well-being by reducing stress and increasing flexibility, strength, and function.
Part of Your Health Care Team
At Aurora BayCare, chiropractors are considered part of your health care team. With your approval, we will communicate and coordinate care with your other health care providers. Together, we can focus on what helps you best, in the most cost-effective way, with the fastest results.
To evaluate your condition, chiropractors will use your personal health history combined with a physical examination, laboratory tests, and X-rays, as medically necessary. As part of the Aurora BayCare team, our chiropractors also have access to high-tech diagnostic tools including imaging services, computerized tomography (CT scan), and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI).
Chiropractic Therapies
Chiropractic care mainly involves manipulation of your spine or other joints. However, your chiropractor may use additional therapies to improve your overall health. Additional therapies may include ultrasound and electric muscle stimulation, soft tissue therapy, temperature therapy (hot pads and cold packs), and nutrition and lifestyle counseling.
No Referrals Needed
You do not need a referral to see an Aurora BayCare chiropractor. Please check with your insurance provider regarding chiropractic care coverage under your policy.
