Green Bay, WI - Recognized for delivering exceptional patient care, Aurora BayCare Medical Center has been recognized as a Best Regional Hospital in Northeastern Wisconsin, in addition to being the 9th best hospital in the State of Wisconsin, according to the U.S. News & World Report's 2019-2020 Best Hospitals list.

Aurora BayCare Medical Center was also recognized for high performance in five common conditions and procedures:

  • Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm Repair
  • Heart Bypass Surgery
  • Hip Replacement
  • Knee Replacement
  • Lung Cancer Surgery

U.S. News & World Report methodology is based on measures of quality such as risk-adjusted outcome rates, volume, quality of nursing and other care-related indicators. Hospitals are eligible for badges depending upon rankings and ratings such as Honor Roll, Ranked Adult Specialty, Best Regional Hospital and Best Specialty Hospital; they receive an accolade if they earn at least one of those rankings or a High Performance (HP) rating in any of 16 eligible medical specialties or nine common procedures and conditions.
