Aurora BayCare Health Center in Kaukauna Now Open

Green Bay, Wis. – A new Aurora BayCare outpatient clinic opened its doors to the Kaukauna community today on July 13, 2020, expanding area residents' access to health care and specialized medical services.

"With our Kaukauna facility conveniently located just off Interstate 41, more people will have convenient access to comprehensive, integrated health care they need," said Daniel Meyer, president of Aurora BayCare Medical Center. "Many people in this area currently have to travel for health care services. It's important that Aurora BayCare offers patients high-quality health care closer to home."

The 72,000-square foot clinic houses 13 clinic specialties and 7 outpatient surgery specialties, including an Urgent Care Plus. It also offers a dedicated area for rehabilitation and sports medicine, primary care, pharmacy and diagnostics including a full, onsite lab, mobile MRI, X-ray, CT and mammography. The surgery center is tentatively planned to open fall of 2020.

"Our vibrant county is rapidly growing, and so we're proud to partner with Aurora BayCare to bring these essential services to our community, from primary care to orthopedics to urgent care plus," said Kaukauna Mayor Anthony Penterman. "This facility will eliminate travel for a great number of our residents who currently are commuting several miles to receive the care they need."

As patients seek to return to medical settings for preventive care and other visits, the Aurora BayCare Safe Care Promise ensures that patients receive the care they need safely at all our facilities. Other safety measures include:

  • Virtual check-in through the Advocate Aurora LiveWell app for seamless, low contact arrival.
  • Everyone goes through a COVID screening before entering this location.
  • Anyone who enters the facility must wear a mask. If a person does not have a mask, one will be provided.
  • Staggered appointment times reduce traffic, minimize social contact and create safe spaces for all.

Due to COVID, Aurora BayCare will hold an event that will engage the community at a later date.
